Hello Everyone,

We are now into the full Christmas season. This is my favorite time of year!

I have a few finishes to share with you. All ornaments except for one.

Santa’s Coming by Swallick Stitchery:

This pattern was in the 2017 Just Cross Stitch ornament issue. I finished it as a tag ornament.

Santa by Lizzie Kate:

This pattern was taken from one of the Tiny Tidings patterns.  I forgot which one at the moment. I saw this finish online (sorry I forgot where) so if anyone knows please feel free to share. Anyway, a key was used and I had a few antique keys and used one for this finish and added a little holly at the bottom. I love how it turned out.

These next two ornaments I did a while ago but I know I didn’t share them yet.

This was from a kit that was supposed to be a fob by The Heart’s Content. I finished it into an ornament instead.

Reindeer by JBW Designs French Country Ornaments. I love these quick to stitch ornaments and I have made a few.

Last finish today is from The Nebby Needle called True Friend:

I stitched and framed this for my dear friend, Erika’s Birthday. It was a fun stitch. I found this frame in my stash and absolutely love it.

That’s it for today. I do have some more finishes pending so stay tuned.

Hope everyone enjoys the holiday season! With all the hustle and bustle make sure you get some quiet stitching time in.

  1. Love all your finishes, Maureen! I love the oval shaped finish of Santa. I have stitched a number of the reindeer from that JBW chart. The piece you stitched for Erika is beautiful; what a treasured keepsake you created for her. I have stitched that same design twice (once for an exchange and once as a gift).

  2. Great finishes Maureen. Love the cute idea of putting a key on the ornament. Is the tag made of wood and then painted? I love tags and think yours came out great. The gift you stitched for your friend is wonderful. I know she will enjoy it very much. RJ@stitchingfriendsforever

  3. YOU FRAMED THAT YOURSELF?!! Oh my goodness! It’s so professional!!! I hope that you go into business framing as well as finishing! I love all of your work, and it’s always a special treat to receive the work of your hands. Thank you, sweet friend! ❤
