A snowman and a stocking

Hello friends,
Seems to be a nice day here in Webster, NY. Sunny and the snow is beginning to melt. Just in time to get more this weekend. Yeah! It has to end sooner or later. Right! On to better things like stitching! I stitched up this cute snowman and she is called Aunt Mimi. Isn’t she just so sweet! it is a pattern by Sisters and Best Friends. It is a very pld pattern but I pulled her out of my stash because I had the fabric and floss with her and decided to stitch her up. One of my goals this year is to stitch up stash I already have kitted. It should save on my budget this year and will help me save for the things I really need and want. That’s 2 snowmen I made from my stash this year. Yeah me!!
The stocking is the recent freebie from Plum Street Samplers. If you haven’t gotten this beauty yet head on over to her blog and print it out. I just love it and can’t wait to finish it.

I have been working on a bunch of projects these last few weeks but I am not going to show them until they are completely finished so please stay tuned…

That’s it for today. I am going to have lunch and then get stitching. I hope everyone has a great weekend and gets lots of stitching done. Until next week…

  1. lovely work. My goal this year is also to finish up a lot of UFO’s and get them framed etc. Perhaps make some pillows or hangings for gifts sometime. Another goal is to make a caft room to maintain all my stash, etc,

    Happy stitching to everyone

    1. Thanks Myra! It is so nice of Paulette. I can’t wait to meet her at the Dyeing to Stitch Retreat in October. I hope to get my class with her because I love her designs and she is such a sweet person.
